Are you ready to test your wits?

Journey into the Tomb of the Nameless Pharaoh

Notes from the Sakkara Desert – June 5, 2025

These may be the final lines I ever write—or the beginning of the greatest discovery of my career.
My name is Dr. Tran, and I’m writing this under the flickering light of a flashlight, in a space thick with the scent of time and ancient dust.

After months of painstaking research into ancient scripts and satellite maps, our team identified the location of a previously unknown structure buried deep beneath the scorching sands of the Sakkara Desert. We believe this is the tomb of a mysterious pharaoh, one who deliberately erased his own name from history.

Our joy was overwhelming when we found the entrance. But the desert is a cruel host.
A violent sandstorm rose without warning, howling like an ancient beast. When the fury passed, we were horrified to find the entrance completely sealed by tons of sand and stone. We were trapped.

Desperate, we searched for a way out. And then—we found it. Behind a cracked wall lay a hidden chamber, a challenge left behind by architects from thousands of years ago.

The room is a perfect square. At its center stands a solemn stone pedestal.
Four shadowy corridors extend toward the four cardinal directions: North, South, East, and West. One of them will lead us to the pharaoh’s eternal resting place. The other three—likely deadly traps.

Engraved deeply and sharply on the central pedestal is an ancient hieroglyphic inscription:

“Where the sun never rises, and never sets, lies the place of eternal rest.”

We began analyzing every clue—murals, ancient symbols, artifacts, their positions, and orientation…
But it is you, reader, who must help us uncover the correct path.

Solve the 11 Riddles Below to Find the Correct Path

To enter the Pharaoh’s Burial Chamber, only one corridor is safe.

1. According to ancient texts, where the sun "never rises and never sets"—which direction(s) must be eliminated?

2. What does the mural on the Eastern wall depict, and what does it imply about safety?

3. The Western mural mentions Duat—what does this mean in context?

4. The Southern mural shows the Pharaoh receiving offerings—how is this related to a final resting place?

5. Which symbol was revealed after thousands of years of water dripping onto the floor? What does it signify?

6. Who is the god Thoth, and why is his statue important?

7. Where is the Thoth statue placed, and which way is it facing?

8. Considering all three murals, which direction is the most dangerous?

9. If East (war), West (afterlife), and South (earthly life) are all excluded, which direction remains?

10. Why did the architects hide the clues in symbols instead of giving direct instructions?

11. Based on all evidence and analysis, which corridor will you choose to enter the Main Burial Chamber?
